U goin' with the Heat?
Even if you know they goin' to win, don't be down with it!
...well, okay, yeah, Lebron is overdue, and obviously he's worked his ass off...
But I'll still be happy to see if Chicago or San Antone can take it off'em |

I predict basketball - along with the majority of professional sports - will continue to suck.
That is all. |

Sorry, but I lose enthusiasm when people who are paid millions of dollars to play a game complain that they are not being paid enough.
Tennis, ping-pong and curling are where it's at! |

I think Oklahoma comes out of the West and Miami or Chicago in the East.
I would take Miami over Oklahoma.
I do think Chicago can beat Oklahoma too.
I would really like to see my Grizz continue what they did last post season. |

Well Derrick Rose tore his ACL today and is done for the season so the Bulls are done.
I love it how nobody in the media is giving any respect for my San Antonio Spurs, best team in the west, they are rested, have depth and still play great D.
One more title for Duncan and Pop and they ride off in the sunset together |

I'm not sure if it's possible to be the dark horse and be in first place, but if it is then that's surely the Spurs. Why they don't get more respect I'm not sure.
With that said....I think OKC is going to surprise most and take it all. Heat in East. Now that D Rose is out. |

Spurs don't get the same level of respect as Heat, Bulls, etc 'cos they don't have a high-flyin' above the rim star that the league can hype...which is ok, Spurs just keep winnin' games...
Bulls could still do some damage (not sayin' they're a lock to go all the way), they went most of the season without Rose, and they got people who can flat out play |

I've been a Spurs fan since I was about twelve and sat courtside a few times because my friend's aunt was David Robinson's neighbor, awesome. The Spur dynasty was built on sublety, even though they have a huge market. Their high flying star was Ginoblili who IMO is one of the best players the league has ever seen. He is/was a dominating freak when he wasn't injured. Tony Parker isn't high flying but he's been one of the best PGs in the league for years. And though he's in his last years, the big fundamental was always the most important player. They've never gotten the respect but the Spurs were the dynasty of the 2000s, not the ass clown lakers, and never forget it. We're cool with the lack of respect, but as long as Popovich and RC Buford are at the helm, NEVER count the Spurs out. Spur. |

Yup, best run team in all of pro sports. Whats amazing is Popp has only gotten 1 coach of the year award, he deserves it this year, his strategy has been incredible resting his players, taking regular season losses for playoff health. Remember also Manu was out for like 30 odd games this season with an injury. If that doesnt get him COY what does? When will he get the Olympic team coaching gig? Lets hope its for 2016
I will say this, TBPH I'd rather have the west #2 seed, Dallas and the Lakers in the first 2 rounds are much easier than Utah and Memphis (who scares the hell out of me) |

I was on the Spurs' bandwagon for nine straight years. Four out of those nine years they won the championship. But that was a long time ago. I think the Spurs used up all the gas during the regular season and have nothing much left in the tank. Besides, I always thought Pops as a great preparation coach but not so great when it comes to making in-game adjustments. Nice season for the Spurs though. It hurts me to hear that D-Rose is out for good. |
