I'm trying to make some space on my bookshelves. I'm open to offers on these books.

Rick Moody, Demonology - short stories (good)
George Elliot Middlemarch (good) SOLD
Homer The Odyssey (acceptable)
Dennis Lehane Mystic River (acceptable)
Dennis Lehane Shutter Island (very good) N.B. These Dennis Lehane books are great pageturners IMHO - he's a really good writer.
Stephen King Under the Dome (good)
Charles Dickens A Tale of Two Cities (worn / acceptable) SOLD
Greg Mortenson Three Cups of Tea (worn / acceptable)
Saul Bellow More Die of Heartbreak (good)
Stephen King 11.22.63 (hardback - as new)
Fyodor Dostoevsky The Brothers Karamazon (worn / acceptable)SOLD

Derek Neale (Ed.) A Creative Writing Handbook: Developing Dramatic Techinique, Individual Style, and Voice (Excellent)

NB. This is a great course on Creative Writing, but I have two copies of the book. There are chapters on genre, writing for screen and radio, dramatising your stories, and a lot of focus on developing your individual style. The fourth section of the book contains a lot of excerpts, which are referred to throughout. This is targeted at writers with some experience who are looking to refine their writing. There are activities all the way through the book.

I'd really recommend this to any writers - I've found it useful already, but will definitely work through it again.
