| What is the best city that has a high demand for foreigner teachers outside of Seoul? Also, can we get a list started of education districts in cities outside of Seoul? |

I disagree about Cohiba's Rule, because happiness stems from having a nice jiggly butt korean girl who knows how to pamper the swipe correctly, and it doesn't mean she has to be in Seoul. She can live anywhere. |

This one's easy:

If you need to be near Seoul:
Anything ending in -si in Gyeonggido.
If you don't:
Busan

| Also, can we get a list started of education districts in cities outside of Seoul? |
Even easier, here's a comprehensive list:
Busan
Incheon
Gwangju
Daejeon
Ulsan
Daegu
Gyeonggido
Chungcheonbukdo
Chungcheonnamdo
Jeollabukdo
Jeollanamdo
Gangwondo
Gyeongsanbukdo
Gyeongsannamdo

SO not.
Daegu is one up on Daejeon. Busan is one up on Daegu. Jeonju beats them all and in the darkness binds them. |

The "education districts" are governed by the offices of education of their respective province/city. Another poster listed those above.
Ilsan (wealthy part of Goyang city) is an outer suburban satellite city of Seoul renowned for educational quality. I worked there and it is high caliber.
Bundang (wealthy part of Seongnam city) is the same. Paju is also a decent suburb of Seoul but is further out.
Gimhae is a decent suburb of Busan.
Outside Seoul and Busan, Changwon is nice. Pohang is also nice. |

I work in Seoul, but my favorite city (sans Jeju Island places) is Busan. Better weather, cheaper shops, and it feels more "international" to me. Like a port city, which it is.
As for demand, I cannot say, but I assume Busan has quite high demand, like most everywhere else in Korea. |

I miss Busan. Friendlier, more laid back natives, better food, yes a more international feel, the sea, the sea, something stiring about living by the sea. |

| I know the market is tough everywhere. My wife and I are looking for work in Busan at them moment. What makes Jeonju so special to you? As a place to work, of course; This is the job-related forum. If you happen to throw in a few details about what it's like to live there, I think we can pass them as being related to work. |
