6 pages of speculation, of things that are less then 0.1% likely to happen in my opinion. The current situation suits everybody involved, which is why none of the main players will make any moves to alter it.

NK's despicable regime gets to survive, US can maintain a presence in SK, SK doesn't have to worry too much (they would have to worry far, far more in the event of NK regime collapse), and China gets to keep its buffer zone. It really is a case of better the devil you know. This is why I believe any attack, missile launch, war etc is seriously unlikely to happen.

The real danger will come when the poor souls who live there eventually gather the strength and courage to rise up and start making changes themselves. Until that happens, just expect more of the same. It's quite fun to read the threats and analyse the language they use. I think I read recently that they called SK government "Bastards." And surely, "Sea of Fire" and "Sacred War" could be used as slogans somehow. Shocked

I'm more afraid of the language used by the US. Considering how much they're talking about a North Korean nuclear test in the very near future, do you think the US will actually launch a strike?

I suppose it's possible, but personally I doubt it. They would probably strongly condemn such an action, but I don't think they will respond any harsher than that. I honestly think that maintaining the status quo is the top priority of all involved.

If Usa is the next country to drop a nuke. it really wont look good for them. other countries will just know usa reach for the nuke when ever the pressure is on, so any other country contemplating going to war against usa will just come out with a nuke as the opening attack, because they know, if we don't nuke first, usa will, that's how the Americans roll.

what I am saying, and I have kept saying is, a surprise rogue attack on seoul to wipe it out in one operation is VERY POSSIBLE.

There are many things that are possible, yet not probable.

When was the last time the U.S. used a nuclear weapon in an act of aggression? How many wars/acts of aggression have they been in/started since then? Did they ever use a nuclear weapon in those? You seriously have no idea what you are talking about and need to stop trying to spread fear through lies.

They are playing a survival game. Real or false, able or unable, all of NKs actions around nuclear development is solely for the sake of regime survival. As long as they develop, or are perceived to develop, their nuclear abilities then the regime can survive.

A nuke never since ww2
an act of Aggression? ok, we should I begin? to many times.

what about the Americans atrocities of war? also so many.

Americans love to go to war because defense contractors want money.
when was the last time The United States was not in a war?
think about that! America has to always be involved in war for financial reason. so it's not a matter of if USA will attack North Korea. it's a matter of when. if Iraq and Afghanistan clear up, wont be long before USA is looking for a new war to get their hands on.
president Obama was over there in Afghanistan to let the contractors know don't worry we are not pulling out. your money line is still flowing.
North Korea, Iran, Pakistan one of those are probably next.
but my guess is, Iran is off the tables. there is a chance Usa would lose if they do to war with them.
so it's either Pakistan or north Korea.
and Pakistan is not really our enemy just some groups or extremists.
so my money is on North Korea, because there will be HUGE money involved for the defense contractors, and of course the Rebuilding contracts which will be divided with the South Korean government, but the USA will have a lot of rights on the rebuilding contracts. we are talking TRILLIONS dollars of the usa, and the secret men who will profit from it.
this war makes sense financially for the secret members who will push for it.
