You get what you pay for if you insist on teaching adults. |

You made a contract with the devil and now you're complaining. That said, I'd just pull a runner and find a real job. No amount of money (especially 2.1) is worth that kind of stress and hating your life. |

I'm not complaining, I'm warning anyone against making the mistake I did. I consider a midnight run a very cowardly and selfish act, one that I'm sure you would have no problem doing. My boss is an ok guy and so are my co-workers, we just happen to work for a company that sucks. So I would rather tough it out for the rest of my contract than put those people in a tough spot. |
Well, there is the middle ground of giving notice. Would you lose money if you completed six months? |

I meant more if you were to give notice and find a new teaching job, in which case not all of those would be a total loss (someone else would pay your airfare home). That's pretty absurd if they're charging you realtor's fees for a place that they'll probably just give to your replacement. |

Lol. I'm not sure which is a worse job duty: insomnia ( which all of us have) or diapers. |
Be careful what you wish for ...
If your adult students are old enough you could get both. |

I still say Wall Street Korea (WSI) is the best place to be teaching adults. Hearing horror stories like this makes me glad I ended up working there. |

Agreed to the above who said Wall Street Institute rocks. I work three hours a day there in block hours.
To the person who blamed the bad situation on insisting on teaching adults - there are good non-split shift or broken shift jobs out there. Just gotta dig harder.
At least I'm not changing diapers... |
