Hi,

I'm looking for some help with booking through websites like TourExpress, 072.com, Hana Tour, whypaymore, etc.

Basically, I'm looking to fly home next month for Christmas/New Year's and most of the flights are sold out.

However, these sites would still allow me to reserve and pay for a seat, even though it shows there are no seats available.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Am I paying to sit on a waiting list and possibly not travel on time?

Thanks in advance.

Hi. I'm not sure where your headed, but I booked a flight to Regina using SOHOtravel. It cost me 1,370,000 return. I inquired about flights from all of the websites you mentioned and soho was the only agency to not put me on a waiting list. They were great and spoke English well. The owner's name is Jongho.

They allow to reserve only, you only pay if a seat is confirmed to be available.

Why not get a Korean to help you do this?

I've gotten tickets from toptravel.co.kr and www.072.com plenty of times with no trouble but not all of you are fluent enough in Korean to do so.

If you're going somewhere over Xmas, I'd suggest going to a travel agent and seeing what's out there since seats will be VERY scarce.

I'm not sure if an ARC number will work but do note that 072.com has a lot of flights that are cash only.

onlinetour.co.kr has some good deals sometimes. You can use it with your ARC number. However, it is only in Korean, you can get by with some basics or get a Korean to help you.

For onlinetour.co.kr, can you pay via bank transfer? Or is it CC only?
