Hey quick question.
I currently have an E7, and I'm familiar with the process from the standpoint of me getting it, but what is required from the company? Do they have to be in existence for a certain amount of time, do they need to have a certain number of Korean workers? I've heard a lot of rumors about it but I just wanted to know what was what. |

Interesting question. I think that you're best bet would be to just call immigration and ask them for the procedure. |

I think I have a list somewhere of what's required by the company, but most of it is straightforward.
Off the top of my head:
- business registration
- application form (separate from applicant's form)
- questionnaire
That last bit is the kicker. The company has to validate the need for a foreigner through this questionnaire. So they basically have to explain how they have tried to hire a Korean to do the job but have been unsuccessful.
I'm sure there are some other nuts and bolts forms. It would pay to call that English help line (1345 I think?) and inquire about it. Or ask the hiring company to phone immigration directly. |
