I like Yahoo, but it is getting increasingly unreliable. I want to show them pix and video, while being able to write to them regularly. How do you do it?

blog- that's what I did- easier than sending out group emails which then come back with 3 out of office replies, one person who couldn't get the mail since their account was full, so can you send just the pictures to [email protected] please?- finding out you missed someone off the list and now they're upset at you...

Yes yes you're all quite right, keep doing exactly what you're doing, I'm the one who's stupid for backing up an ideal answer to the OPs question.

There can be many ideas. It does not mean one is ideal. Possibly his family has no idea what a blog is.

"Hey Grandma, look at the pic on my blog."

"Don't use that language around me boy."

Thanks Swiss James for your support.

Umm, I actually have phoned my relatives, but I guess I can show them the real Korea but holding the phone up to the room and letting them "listen" around. Good idea? Anyway Komtengi, I was looking for some original and alternative ideas to talk to my family, considering I have just found them after losing contact with them for over 20 years. (Haven't seen them since I was little). So I have a lot to talk with them about and the phone bill will be getting quite expensive, and is quite expensive already, not to mention the cash I have laid out trying to find them. Thanks for your clever and thoughtful input.

A blog sounds like a wonderful idea. But is it possible to keep it private and not having get found in search engines?

My aunt I use MSN and email, my father its the phone, he refuses to buy a computer and even has refused me buying or giving him the one we have in storage in the US and paying for the net. At least phone cards are cheap 24,000 won gives us 400 minutes, use one of those every 2 months

rest of my family i rarely hear from exvept for the rare email

Mrs Flyer uses email and the phone

Kangnam Travel have a phone card that is about 58 won a minute to the US. Very inexpensive. 50,000 won will get you about 15 hours talk time. Aside from that I'm a big Yahoo fan, but if they are backing up MSN Messenger is a worthwhile alternative. Another option is get yourself a .com nad set up a web page and post the pictures there. Spiderhosts have an excellent deal for about US$30.00 a year for full domain hosting. Just a thought. You can find a link to Kangnam at www.pusanweb.com Smile
