| I was looking for a good place to go with my girlfriend for a weekend trip (2 nights 3 days). If possible, it would be on/near the east or west sea. I've been to Sokcho, Busan, and Jeju-do and had a good time. I'm open to all suggestions, thanks. |

| I'd recommend Samcheok in Gangwon-do. Railbikes and Hwanseon cave. It's a nice area. Google it or check out the visitKorea website. |

Avoid hitting the road that weekend as it'll be crazy and crowded. I suggest hitting Chuncheon on the subway line and taking the express line.
I don't think you'd like being stuck in traffic for hours. |

What, twelve hours on the road from Seoul to Sokcho doesn't strike your fancy? |
