South Korea, Seoul, Songpa-gu, Seokchon-dong, 1-3
Walk behind cafe bene to the next alley. Right on the corner is a kalbi restaurant. Before 3 pm, the fee is 13,000 won for the buffet. There are 14 kinds of pork and beef available from various countries. Grab what you want and cook it up! Can't leave any food on your table, or there is a fine. Rice, booze, etc. is extra. Very delicious!! Remember, after 3 pm the price goes up. Also, the conditions may change at any time. (Will get the name in the next day. Left the card at home.) Enjoy!! |

I don't particularly want Galbi, I want the Korean Banquet with the fish and the Kimchi jiggae and all the side dishes. |

HBC 고기집 (gogijip) - At least three branches last I checked (Itaewon, Haebangchon, Shindang), though the one in Itaewon doesn't call itself HBC outright. Each branch has a special one night per week where unlimited 등심 (sirloin...?) is on offer for the price of a single serving, 15K won, per person for a two-hour period. If two hours isn't enough, you are an eating machine and need to go to the next place. Only downside is some branches skimp on the side dishes on the buffet night.
King Kong - Group of shops down in Yeongtong, Suwon. Flat fee of 15K or so and all you can eat meat for as long as you can eat meat. It's largely self-serve, and most of the meat is solid quality.
I thought I recalled another one but can't now... |

There was an all you can eat/drink meat + beer joint at Yeoksam station. Sort of a Koreans dream come true. Don't remember the name, smokey as hell in there. You grab the meat and cook it up at your table.
Making me hungry, maybe I'll go tonight and post info. |

The joint I mentioned above in Yeoksam appears to be closed so I found this place instead...
"Dino Meat", Seolleung station, exit 7, take first left, there you are. Phone 02.557.1439.
Fairly clean nice place as far as these sorts of places go, 16k won all you can eat beef/port, drinks not includes. |

In Seongnam by Gachon University (formerly Kyungwon U) there is an all you can eat barbecue place called Mammoth - 12,000 won per person. Also in this area is another place ( I forget the name) that has all you can eat and drink for 20,000w per person. It is north of Gachon U station on the Bundang line. The little neighborhood is between Gachon U and Dongseoul U/College.

I eat all the meat I want at the La Festa area in Ilsan for 9,900 til 430pm, 12000w after that. I go there after I work out at least twice a week. There are quite a few places like this in La Festa. Someone mentioned Mammoth, there is also a Mammoth on the La Festa strip. Gogi and seafood buffets are what keep me coming back to Korea. |

I live in Ilsan. Please to tell me about these places. Though would it awkward eating at all you can eat alone? |

Self Bar in Hongdae. All-you-can eat galbi, samgyupsal, dak galbi, squid, whatever you want. 12,000 ALL DAY AND NIGHT. I think they're even open until 3-4 AM and the food is pretty dang good. All the banchan are there, and they even have unlimited chocolate ice cream and tteokbokki. Avoid if you're not on the Atkins diet!
The price is unbeatable. I stuffed myself with samgyupsal and galbi and went home a happy and well-fed man. I will be back many times.

There are 3 meat buffet restaurants pretty much next to each other on "Meat Street." They all have a "salad bar" as well. One is Mammoth, as was mentioned. The second is the cheapest one, also previously mentioned (But only at lunch time). Evenings the prices at all 3 are the same. The third is the Self Bar, which is the one I actually prefer to go to. In Homeplus there is Ashley's and nearby Jessica's Kitchen which are buffets but not meat buffets as the other 3 are. Hope that helped. |
