Hello,

I just about have all of my required documents together to start applying for jobs, but I do have one concern. I have seen a couple of websites listing name consistency as a visa requirement. My CBC was returned to me today and only listed my middle initial. Should I call and see if this can be corrected? Or is this not really much of a problem?

I also use a suffix (II) on my school documents. Will this cause a problem?

I foresee no problem.

The immigration office gave me some trouble with parents' names being their English name on the passport versus Korean name on the birth certificate/family records, but as long as your name is easily recognizable to be the same on both (i.e. John Smith vs John M. Smith, vs. John Smith Jr.), I think it's okay; Some of my documents have my middle name/initial and some don't, and nobody asked me about it.
