My boss has kindly given me the responsibility of finding an English language programme in Ontario for one of his middle schoolers. Does anyone have the first clue where I may start on this one? |

Why does it have to be in Ontario rather than some place else in the country? |

I don't think it does. Maybe his boss only heard of Ontario. Vancouver would be much better in the summer. |

One of my former students went on a home stay in Victoria last year. I don't think there was any schooling though. |

what about universities? Queen's did something in the summers for ESL students and they lived in residence. It had various levels of use, and was a mix of Quebecois students and students from Asia. |

I worked at a Language School in Toronto for a year and we were one among many that offered summer programs, inclusive homestay, baseball game, trip to the falls.... You'll have plenty to choose from
In terms of finding them I worked marketing rather than teaching and on trips for language fairs in Asia I went to teh Canadian Trade Office in taipei and they had a whole department thats purpose was to provide Educational info for CAnadian schools of all ilk. So, contact the Canadian embassy in Seoul or pop by if you live there and check it out. |
