Well not yet...
Steve Albini was on Reddit's AMA this morning. Someone asked him when he would do a show is South Korea. This is what he said.
"If you can set up a show, feel free to contact us about Korea. We're all ears."
How can we make this happen? A Steve Albini show would be insane. |

Don't forget his band Big Black from the 80s. Some of the same band members from Naked Raygun in those days.
Oddly enough, Shellac rarely ever does a show in Chicago, where Albini has his recording studio. They occasionally play other cities though. A small club or bar in Itaewon wouldn't be too much trouble to set up, I imagine. Or what about the Summer rock fest in Busan? |

Yeah Shellac playing Club FF in Hongdae would be great, but that will not pay for the plane ticket, and not sure Koreans would dig that sort of music.
Hey by they way you are not supposed to say Steve "produced" a band or smoke will start spewing out his ears...  |

who the hell would ask him about a show in korea?!? god...
I doubt more than a room full of people who listen to shellac, BB, etc here.
Then again, I have found a few random artists who do play a tour here just for the hell of it. who knows.. |
