There is a lot of posting about getting doubles of CBC, and other forms. The CBC is already in the works, would I have to redo all of that for a second set. It already takes forever!

What documents should have official doubles?

Ty!

I'm wondering the same thing. I've been waiting 3+ weeks now for my CBC to come in and it would suck to have to order another one. Would a photocopy with a notarized stamp for the Korean consulate not suffice?

If your CBC is still being processed, try contacting the FBI CJIS customer service and see if you can add additional copies to your request (authenticated, of course): http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/background-checks/faqs. I know you can submit a change of address to them by fax, so maybe you can send in a request for additional copies that same way. No idea if it'll actually work, but it's worth a shot and is your best bet for getting around doing the whole thing a second time After the CBC is mailed back to you, you definitely cannot get additional copies (I tried) and will have to resubmit your fingerprints all over again.

There's a lot of confusion right now about how many original CBC's with apostille are required. One recruiter told me that I needed two- one for immigration, and a second one because MOE's in some of the larger cities (Seoul, Busan) are now also requiring original CBC's (but MOE's in smaller cities are not). However, none of the other recruiters I have been working with have mentioned needing more than one. And neither EPIK nor GEPIK are currently requesting more than one CBC (last time I checked, at least).

Regardless though, it doesn't hurt to have multiples on hand.
