I have an Australian accent, and have to admit of all the NET accents Australian and South African are probably the hardest to sell.
I have had no problems and it was only mentioned by one young co teacher who had spent a year in Utah that she had trouble understanding it at first.
Once a year I do an activity where the students hear 5 people with very distinct accents and they try to pick what country they are from. They are absolutely horrible at it as is my co teacher. |

I know a Leeds boy too so that's four. I think you'd be quite surprised at the amount of Championship fans over here. |
