Everytime you use your cell phone, computer, or your credit/debit card it's all being put into a government algorithm that evaluates your threat level. If enough red flags get raised in the network you get upgraded to a case worker. Case workers then personally and more closely watch your spending and communications. If the case worker becomes suspicious of terrorist activity they'll elevate you to specialists who will help you "plan" an actual attack or do something illegal. This has kept us safe for and has caught terrorist attacks for several years now.

When will this technology start being used for political purposes? Stopping revolutionary ideas, arresting potential politicians that will alter the status quo? The Democrats already look alot like the Republicans. When will the "East" start fighting the "West" in phony wars that keep the population and economy in check all controlled by the IT/Social Scientist genius's in the sky?

Where will this technology take us socially and culturally when it starts being abused? Because thats what governments & individuals do if they're able to.
