By your logic, you have no taste because you don't like Coen brother's films even though they are critically acclaimed.

I have a theory that the Vision will be in the next Avengers movie, and part of that theory involves "who he'll be" and it's based incidents in the first Avengers movie, but I ain't telling here because "spoilers, sweetie."

No. It does what it's supposed to do very well. Which is to entertain the audience with action and special affects with a mixture of light hearted humor. It doesn't take itself too seriously and the actors play their roles well.

It's not a master piece that will watched and cherished in the future like Schindler's List or Godfather. Comparing the Avenger's to a Cohen brothers' movie is just dumb.

On a similar note, it's also how I feel about Robert Downey Junior. He isn't Daniel Day Lewis, but he does what he does well. A lot of actors are decent don't have a lot of range.

The Avengers is the Kpop of movies. Don't let anyone hate on you for liking some simple fun. Movie snobs are just as annoying as music snobs. Does watching only Coen brothers films make you some magically better person? No.

Now I AM a movie snob and would never see a movie like Avengers unless I was dragged bucked and gagged, but I could care less if someone loves it or not.

Let people have fun with what they will.

Oh dear god someone with a modicum of reading comprehension. And yet still a dumbass. I admit with as much clarity as I can that I don't like everything that is critically acclaimed...and yet that is somehow to my detriment? You have clearly missed the point.

No, but I never claimed the Avengers was good because it is popular. You see, and here is where your argument falls flat. Something can be both good, AND popular. The Avengers is critically acclaimed, McDonald's is not. See the difference?

As a chain of fast food restaurants McDoanld's is both good and popular. As a Michellin star contender it doesn't have much of a chance. Just as it's unlikely anyone is going to vote The Avengers as one of the best all round films of the decade. Or even the year. Presumably it's been acclaimed as a good comic superhero movie just as critics might vote Jersey Shore as the best reality TV show. Sometimes people make a case for films crossing over from their genre into being generally acclaimed, like that Batman film everyone goes on about but they're still never going to be taken really seriously.

At this point you've claimed McDonalds is good despite what I've said, and what most people think and therefore the rest of your post is complete garbage. Congratulations.

Sorry, Kpop sucks. The Avengers doesn't. Don't let your hard on for everything Korean delude you otherwise.

Hi! I have better credentials than the literally thousands of movie critics who have reviewed this film. Please take ignorant review more seriously than theirs.

All of which is to say that you are too dumb to appreciate a decent movie. I'm comfortable with that.

Wow you must really love this movie. Did I hurt your feelings so much that you had to respond twice to the same post? I've even said I enjoyed it. Also, critics aren't infallible buddy.

I look at what it sets out to achieve. MacDonald's is the best at what it does best - provide very cheap fast food around the world.

Likewise, the Avengers is, IMO, the best comic book movie to date. I don't think anyone is comparing it to Oscar winners, but rather to other summertime blockbusters.

If MacDonald's or The Avengers are not for you, so be it. But their reasons for success seem pretty clear to me.

The restaurant name is McDonald's. Just saying.

Not quite. It's no masterpiece of course.

If Barney the dinosaur teamed up with Barbie and Pokemon characters, and it was a hip hop/euro-dance fashion show musical...
... THAT would be the Kpop of movies.

No, a cheap Chinese knockoff DVD is the Kpop of movies, since it's essentially American pop but with more bubblegum. The Avengers is like the Pop music of movies. Fun, entertaining, inoffensive, not terribly original but not an obvious copy of something superior.

X2- Best superhero movie of all time. OF ALL TIME!

You clearly don't know what point you are trying to make.

Are you admitting you don't have taste? You just accused bish of having no taste for not liking a critically acclaimed movie. You admit you don't like some critically acclaimed movies. How come you get to retain your taste and bish doesn't? Since you dislike a whole group of critically acclaimed movies, aren't you in fact even more lacking in taste than bish who - as far as we know - only dislikes one?

Please make more sense and perhaps I'll get your point.
