|

Hi, I've been trying to figure it out on my own but I keep getting confused by all the numbers and bands.
If I buy a Galaxy Nexus from the US (from the Google Play website) then can I use it here in Korea?
If so would I have to buy a carrier specific one?
Is there any fee for registering the phone here and using it besides the monthly fee?
Could I just swap out the SIM card for my current phone and use it in the new one?
Any answers would be much appreciated. Thank you. |

I called SK telecom to ask about my CDMA Galaxy Nexus, but they won't activate it.
They will, however, activate a GSM Galaxy Nexus (the one from the Google Play website). Don't worry about frequency bands; the GSM Nexus covers every GSM and HSPA frequency in use.
You can contact SK telecom by phone: http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=192229. |
