I was not a fan, at all, of the original, but this is pretty chill.

In any case, over 5 million views in less than two weeks? Good for him. It's always nice to see someone talented and creative get some attention. |

...must be nice to have those kind of connections.
I still find it hard to believe the original is so bad...and the cover is so good.
It now has more than 8 million views...not that popularity is an indicator of quality...but it did get him a spot on the Today Show.
I can't think of any song where the cover was that much better than the original...kind of refreshing for a change. |

I don't think it should be defined as cover. More like complete overhaul. |
