Great day at the fights!
Undercard was somewhat lackluster, but the two OPBF title fights more than made up for it.
fermentation, I can't believe that Kim Min-Wook knocked out Jakosalem! I didn't want to say it before (because he's your teammate) but I thought that Jako would make Min-Wook look like an idiot before finishing him. Wow.

What makes you say that? I actually didn't know what to expect since I never saw Jakosalem fight. I was a bit worried about his speed and reach in the first round but I did not expect Minwook to knock him out that easily.

I feel bad for Kim Donghyuk but his opponent was really good. 200+ Muay Thai fights? Crazy. Overall good event. Didn't even see the undercard.

All I knew about Min-wook was his boxrec record, which showed a lack of experience when compared to Jakosalem. I've seen Jakosalem fight, and he has power, accuracy, great endurance and recovery. He's also a show-man: if he would have had the chance, he would have been putting his hands behind his back, or up on the ropes, clowning and frustrating Min-wook.
He never got the chance, though.
Min-wook was awesome, and I expect big things of him in the next few years.

Minwook's pro record is deceptive. He fought on the global level in the amateurs so he has experience. From being on the receiving end of his punches, I can tell you he also hits hard and fast, but because of his amateur experience, I don't think he was used to sitting down on his punches and finishing opponents at first. Our trainer is slowly changing that. He's been developing that right hand a lot. Now he's had two consecutive knock outs in the second round.

I hope potential opponents don't avoid him.

I don't think anyone will be avoiding him. As the OPBF champ there'll be people gunning for him. He should rematch Kim Tak-Min and avenge his only loss (man, what was his coach thinking in putting him against Kim Tak-Min in his pro debut??)

Not sure if he was under my trainer when he fought as that was during when I was in the military. I do think though Koreans have a habit of sending fighters to the wolves early instead of building them up like in the west. Granted I'm not too fond of guys who puff up their records with scrubs (I'm talking about you Chavez Jr!) I think they should build prospects up a little better.
