I am trying to gather my technology before heading to Seoul for the year. I am considering taking an unlocked (previously AT&T) iPhone 4 with me, going through the process to get it approved for use in SK.
-- OR --
Considering getting an iPad + Cellular data and getting it approved for use with a SIM card (and just using an old school phone for phone calls/txt)
Any advice on this? I work at Apple currently and would not like to get another kind of smartphone (please no responses just to hate on iPhone users/Apple fanatics).
I'm very confused about the way phones go in Korea! Would an iPad even be able to get data like in the US? We usually tell people at work that most countries can give you SIMs with prepaid data and you can put those in iPads. BUT, SK seems to be different....
Any advice/help would be appreciated! |
