| Hi guys, I've been offered a contract from YBM Gate in Apgujeong and wanted to know if anyone knows any info on the school. They're offering me 2.5 mil and my hours would be from 9am-6pm. This is my first job offer and it sounds really good but I know I should look for other positions before picking one. Help! |

| once you get your contract, post it on the contract review thread. Also ask to talk to the people you are taking over from or any other native speaking employees. Ask them the basics. Is pay ever late? How many kids per class?, etc. |

Teaching kids? Did their rates go up? Thought their max was 2.4 for experience. |

My position would be a "Creativity Position", I'm not just focusing on teaching English, but I would also teach art and science. From what the HR told me, the min was 2.3 |

Nicole,
Did you accept? I work for YBM in Gangjin and they have ben very good. I know of a position down here as well that is opening next month. Money is either the same or more but less hours. 9 -3:30. |

| I don't have any knowledge about Gangnam but i do know its south of Seoul. If it is YBM I would accept, if the contract was to your liking of course. YBM is a great company to work for (at least it is for me), I have not heard of any horror stories like those from smaller hogwons. I have only nice things to say about YBM & Herald media language towns. Good luck and if you have any more questions dont hesitate I will try to answer them. |
