[quote="ricochet"]what a drag it is getting old...
It sure is, Mick.
And even more of a drag to see a dredged up thread with some memorable posters. Those of us who have been around a while know what happened to JG; a very witty and urbane poster.
Others from that time just disappeared or went underground. I remember many of them fondly. It was a golden period for Dave's and yes, I was around pre-2003 as well and remember some outrageous behaviour from then too.
Gone (or back as socks - and you know who YOU are -) but never forgotten... |

Dude, I am officially 41 and I can still pull chicks almost
half my age. This is Asia, duh! The expiry date for Asian
women is serious. Why would you want to date anything
over 30? Unless you got some kind of fetish or something.
If I was still 30 I would be dating 1st year uni chicks for sure! |

| Yep JJs is the standard place we take our high-roller business visitors, they always seem to love it. I thought I would hate the place but it was actually pretty fun the one time I got pulled into it. Paid 100K won for my beer, awesomeness! |

Where does a non-alcoholic English speaking expatriate go to meet Korean women?
Yes I know there are language exchange clubs or Inter cultural exchange meet ups, but they are all after hours, and late too. I live in Yongin, it is an hour out of Seoul by bus; that is not taking in to account additional travel time on the sub way.
I must be the last non-alcoholic drinker left in South Korea! And it appears being an alcoholic in S.K is a boon |

Ha well cmon dude, everything revolves around drinking here.
If you have korean buds you can goto a "booking club", a westerner at the table is a novelty. Everyone will be drinking because you need to order an expensive drink set just to get in the door. |
