Does anyone have a rundown of or a link to the process for filing for overseas remittance for the national pension for an American who worked in Korea? I have searched quite a bit, and I am having trouble working around out of date information. Thanks in advance. |

You have to go to the pension office and provide them with a plane ticket out of the country and a bank statement from your bank. They won't send it if you don't have a bank statement of some kind, as they think we're too stupid to verify our own account information.
In lieu of a bank account, I think you can just collect cash at the airport. |

Thanks man, but I was looking for the process from overseas. I am already home. I know you could do it at one point because I found a whole bunch of out of date info about it. Just trying to get current info. Thanks though. |
