Current contract ends in early August. Got an offer for September at
another school. Is it possible to transfer the visa to the other school.
That way I will not have to go through the hassle of the CBC/etc.
I should also mention that I would be going home in that month in between
for a short visit.
Thanks much.
Also if it makes much difference I have an E-2 and been here for 5 years.
Thanks much again. |

Really 5 years and you do not know this. Plus over 600 posts on the board.
You can very likely transfer your visa to a new place. One contract finished, just sign and start the other one earlier. Then go on your vacation. It has been done. Another option is the D-10 looking for work visa. It is a sort of a bridging visa. Get the D-10 go back home then change D-10 to E2.
Have you submitted a NATIONAL CRC before. If a state was good enough. They get a NATIONAL done now. Even if you have done a national before, get the papers again. MOE may be asking for new ones from ya.
Maybe some good luck for you. Has that 5 years been continuous with renewals and transfers. If your visa has not been canceled in that time. I would try for the F2-99 visa. Do not let your visa be canceled and miss the opportunity. |
