Three of the four groups are really good...Group A is the least interesting-- Greece and Croatia will probably advance. Gotta love the group of debt- Greece should be in that one, too!!

It begins today!

Well just Group A which is kind of boring.

Really looking forward to Germany v Portugal on the weekend.

As much as I hate to say it, Ireland would have a hard time getting a win in any group.

Group A isn't boring. Russia and Poland have hatred going for them. Sure, they lack the big name stars and firepower, but well, you get a red-hot Petr Cech, an in-form Lewandowski, or a team coming together like Greece and they can make some noise.

And who wouldn't want to see a Greece-Germany matchup after the group stages?

Predictions- Lewandowski has a big tourney in front of his home crowd. Robben bounces back, Schweinsteiger does not. Cristiano Ronaldo is not enough to overcome Netherlands and Germany. Andres Lindegaard makes McD's Fantasy owners smile as he racks up save points. Shay Given steals a game against Italy. A written-off England team makes it to the semi-finals.

Where's the best place to watch the England games in Seoul? I went to Hollywood in Itaewon for the SA world cup. Is this still the best place to go? Up the Clarets!

In Group C you should have Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece,

these are the countries with the runaway deficit spending. They need to get their fiscal house in order.

Also some of the countries that you listed, like Russia, aren't even on the Euro.

2012 could be the year of the Euro's demise, but we'll have to wait and see.

First upset of the tournament -

Denmark 1 Netherlands 0

Also, Russian hooligans have made their presence known:

Black players in the tournament have already been subjected to monkey chants.

Unfortunately the Irish are the first to be eliminated.

Hopefully they still put up a fight against Italy on Monday.
