If you go to Seogwipo on Jeju (south part of the island), I like the Jeju Hiking Inn which is only about a 5 minute walk from the main part of town.

I think it's 22,000won for a single room with your own bathroom. I've stayed there a few times and the rooms have always been fine. |

I do NOT recommend Jeju Hiking Inn. I stayed there two years ago. There was mold all over one of the walls of my room, and the front desk guy (owner?) had a bad attitude when I needed anything from him, such as check in (I had a reservation) and check out. |
