You don't need 'permission' from immigration, you need permission from your current E-2 sponsor (current boss). They basically write a letter and you take it to immigration, along with a contract from your new job. It has to be an established institution, it can't be a private tutoring or something you are running yourself. |

1) get documents:
i) Letter of permission from your visa sponsor (employer)
ii) copy of current employment contract / work schedule
iii) new contract from additional employer
iv) business registration (copy) from new employer
v) ARC
vi) passport
vii) application
viii) fee (60k won for addition of a workplace).
2) go to immigration (the same office that issued your ARC)
3) apply for the addition of a workplace.
Takes about 20 minutes at the counter to get it added to your ARC.

you may have to go more than once
when i went to do mine a few years back the immigration offical told me that people working for hagwons were not allowed to add another hagwon
only public schools were allowed to be added
even though i knew for a fact that this info was incorrect
get a new number, speak to a different person |
