"WASHINGTON For the first time, the influx of Asians moving to the U.S. has surpassed that of Hispanics, reflecting a slowdown in illegal immigration while American employers increase their demand for high-skilled workers.
An expansive study by the Pew Research Center details what it describes as "the rise of Asian-Americans," a highly diverse and fast-growing group making up roughly 5 percent of the U.S. population. Mostly foreign-born and naturalized citizens, their numbers have been boosted by increases in visas granted to specialized workers and to wealthy investors as the U.S. economy becomes driven less by manufacturing and more by technology...."
I guess now since Asians are going to America in droves--more than any other ethnicity--maybe Koreans will finally be OK with it in their own country??? Accepting wittle ole me? |

The ironic thing is the Asians that go to America and Canada are by and large some of the best educated, talented, and wealthiest that Asia has to offer. Meanwhile, an increasing number of struggling Westerners who can't find adequate employment in Western countries are going to Asia for opportunities. |

Pffft...Some. Some are some of the most clueless, naive saps I've ever come across. Think its all gold paved roads and that saving up money as a school teacher and mid-level salaryman whose career's have leveled will lead them to respectable employment overseas. You get some bright students who really push to go overseas...and you get people who didn't get into SKY and their parents send them over and all they do is loaf around playing Halo or blowing money on the credit card and doing the usual 5-6 years to graduate.
It's a mixed bag. Heck you get people on the run from K-Law moving here and stuff. You get people who ply the honorable trade of liquor store owner. Nothing like the best and brightest selling Scratch N Wins, brillo pads, and single Swisher Sweets. |

The title is misleading. 'Asians Immigrants' are certainly not 'the most in America.' Instead,
