Then there's the fact that the roads were built with complete disregard for the flow of traffic or simple common sense. Whoever decided it would be a good idea to have two left turn lanes show up out of nowhere, exiting from a freeway, with completely inadequate signage, should be fired and blacklisted from these types of jobs forever.
It's like Korean roads were DESIGNED to be inefficient. I always wondered why I kept getting road rage in Korea. Now I know-the roads that I share with too many people make no sense.
As for urban planning you also have the second generation of these so-called new cities that are also heavily planned (Pangyo/Gwangyo). But putting Bundang, Gwangyo, and Pangyo along the same freeway that already handles too much traffic? The civil servant who signed off on this should be fired. They should have either widened the Gyeongbu Expressway or each of those developments should have their own freeway into Seoul. |

Does it have to be done by the Oz consulate or will a Korean Notary and apostille work? Is it possible to send the documents to a lawyer or Notary back home to be processed in bulk. Does you need to be present if certified. Can a family member help and do it back home.
So is it, possible for some details on your situation. Help us, help you.
Once again perspective changed. Good Luck. |
I gave details

Are there any Australians living in Korea who are a
 Justice of the Peace
 Notary Public
Legal Practitioner (holding a current Practising Certificate)
A person authorised to administer an oath under Section 26 of the Oaths Act 1900
..........
So I'm wondering if there are any Australians present who are able and willing to witness/certify documents for Australians? |
has to be Australian, has to be an Australian JP, an Australian Notary Public, an Australian Legal Practitioner (holding a current Practising Certificate) or an Australian person authorised to administer an oath under Section 26 of the Oaths Act 1900.
And I asked if they would be able to...and willing to....take a few minutes out of their day to sign some papers
The only people I know of that fit that description currently are at the embassy, and they charge 34,000won.
Korean won't work, that's why I specifically asked for Australians.
Certified copies can be done by friends in Australia by post, that will bring the cost down, witnessing documents however cannot.
1927: Thanks again, you're a champion. I might try the ANZ branch that is in Seoul, maybe they can help an account holder. |
