ok, i know the whole marriage certificate thing has been done to death here. And I also realize I need to get cracking IF I want to try to apply for her citizenship... but what if she doesnt want it?
Honestly I don't plan to move to Canada anytime soon BUT I'm planning on bringing my wife to visit my friends and family as "part" of the honeymoon.
Do you figure we'll have any probs just going over as tourists?
Just step off the plan and visit for two weeks like normal? |

Yeah, I think that's all you need to do. My wife and I have been back for several vacations with no difficulties. She's always brought our Canadian marriage certificate just in case, but has never needed to show it anyone. |

No problem.
When I went they asked her who she was with, if she was immigrating with me at this time, I said no, they said enjoy.
Make sure she has all your relatives' addresses and numbers and some cash and a return ticket just in case she has to go through customs etc. separate. |
