Our next swap will be Saturday, July 14th from 2-4pm. Last time we had over 70 people and had SO much stuff leftover, so if you've got nothing to trade: no worries, you're welcome to come and take stuff for free.

What's the catch? There is none. It's a way to recycle stuff that people don't want (that's in good condition) so they don't have to throw it out. There have already been a few people who are leaving Korea before the swap who have dropped stuff off. Leftovers go to Teen Challenge Korea (based on the Teen Challege USA programme) and also sent overseas to Sierre Leone and Mongolia every couple of months.

It's located in ICA Church in Jamwon and they provide food and drinks. The majority of people either bring some food and drink to share, or donate a couple thousand won to help cover food and drink costs (not mandatory, but welcomed nonetheless). there's parking on the street and it's about 3 minutes from the subway station. Inside there's an area for kids to play games, a nursing area, and a changing room.

Line 3 Jamwon station exit 4. Walk straight for 50 meters and at the road junction turn left. Walk 150m and you will see a building on the right with stores in it. ICA church is on the 2nd floor. ICA Church, Jamwong-dong #57-1, Seochu-gu, Daelim Sanga 2-210, Seoul. Address in Korean: 서울시 서초구 잠원동 57번지, 잠원대림상가 2층210호.

What can you bring? basically anything in good condition. In the past there's been:

[li]Adult clothes
Kids' clothes
Baby clothes
Shoes
Books
Accessories: purses, scarves, jewelry, etc.
Toiletries: deodorant, shampoo, perfume, etc.
Food (unopened): cookies, hot choco, etc.
Baby and kids stuff: toys, games, books, carriers, etc
Electronics: computers, hair dryers, blenders, etc
Outside gear: coats, jackets, etc
Random stuff[/li]

Please do not bring:

[li]Clothes with rips, tears, stains: rip 'em up and use them as rags
Underwear or bikini bottoms: that's just gross (bras are fine though)
Broken electronics: could be dangerous
Anything weird: if you have to ask, don't bring it.[/li]
