Let me first say I am happy everything is normal in there and the baby is healthy. Now for the funny bits:
"Your baby will likely be intelligent" (head measurement)
"It has a big nose" (nose looked like a cute little 22-week foetus button nose to me)
"The femur is long" (long foreign legs)
And after the scan while we were consulting with our doctor, the doc who performed the scan sent a computer message to our doctor:
"That baby looks like a movie star"

The doctor said those things to me as well. Big head, long legs...only he didn't bother to attach any positive connotations to them, just said it like an observation.
Ah well, I'm sure they're thinking in Korean and then saying it in English, so I guess we have to forgive them when they come up with such things. |
