I'm getting a repeating 'please input account password' when I'm trying to do an overseas remittance.

AFAIK I have two passwords...the one to log into nonghyup online banking and my pin code.

Any ideas? I' in my home country and can't access my money!

My Nonghyup account has three passwords:
- Certificate log in
- account password
- transfer password
Then there is the ATM PIN (which isn't used for online transfer)

Sounds like you might still be needing the account password and transfer password.

Be careful!

If you enter the wrong pin number too many times you'll have to go into the NH branch to reset it.

I'm not sure if it is the same for passwords, but I would call them and speak to an English representative just in case (unless you're not new to NH international wire transfers).

Well, they do seem to want the atm pin on the overseas remittance, but I only have one password and that's the certificate log in. So it looks like I'm missing two passwords.

Do you think there's anyway the bank will be able to arrange the transfer over the phone? I'm in my home country now and need access to my money.

It's so annoying, they re-did all the forms for me for transfers but neglected to put on my passwords on the form.

Honestly, I can understand why it's called the farmer's bank.

I did, but I'll give it another try. NH said that i will be locked out if I try over five times, but I've done it about 15 times now and still not locked out. I actually think the error message might not be relating to my transfer password as it says 'account password'.

Apart from that NH said there's nothing they can do. Awful, awful bank. I think I'm going to open an account at a better one and just auto transfer my money into there (my job forces me to use NH)

On my Nnghyup account there are:

password for log on
password for transfer of money; can be same as log on but need to input for each transfer; these can be different for different accounts e.g. gas, internet, etc but once created it'll expect same password for that account
ATM PIN number; input needed for each transfer
pair of double digit numbers from a table of numbers; input required for each transfer

these days I go to the bank in person and do a GIRO transfer.
