I had an excellent experience with a dental clinic in Gangnam. After being in Seoul for 6 years, Ive come across several clinics, and always being disappointed with service and/or price. At Reema Dental, I met a very kind (and gentle) English-speaking hygienist who offered a free cleaning and bleaching treatment (wouldve cost at least $300). I also got discounts on other procedures and will get an implant in the near future. Just the free cleaning and bleaching is worth passing this along to others. Contact Berry (Korean name Sehee) at 010-6352-7782 and I also got her email to pass along (Im typically more comfortable with email vs. phone) [email protected] |

So you're saying if we call this person, or send them an e-mail, they will give us a free cleaning and bleaching?? |

Yes, it's true. Call or email, make an appointment and get a cleaning/bleaching (it's one procedure) along with the free exam. You will also need to get directions....it's not far from Gangnam stn. |

Please post here after your appointment. It took me years to find an honest and decent dental clinic here. I love to pass on good information to others. |

Wanted to let everyone know I went to the clinic on Friday. I was very hesitant and expected to have some kind of unexpected thing occur, but it all was kosher. Berry kept in contact with me and didn't mind at all that I was late due to terrible traffic.
As promised, I was given a free cleaning. I could have done the bleaching too, but I declined for personal reasons.
The cleaning was good, free as promised and Berry is a very nice person.
The clinic is really nice, and the chairs were insanely comfortable.
She is trying to build clients, so she and her dentist, are still offering the free cleaning and bleaching.
I suggest if you haven't been to the Dentist in a while, go get yourself a free cleaning. Send her an e-mail or give her a call. She will take care of you. No strings attached. |

I also visited this clinic because of this post and I was really pleased. Berry's English is excellent and I got the free cleaning and bleaching as promised. The cleaning (scaling) was pretty painful but much needed. The bleaching was okay. It's definitely wasn't a dramatic change for me. After two days I could barely tell the difference. But hey it was free!
I also got two wisdom teeth removed. Both were a simple extraction and it only cost 10,770 won total. I was so surprised by how cheap it was after the NHS insurance. Also the medication I got cost about 3,400 won. So I got two teeth pulled for the grand total of 14,170 won.
I'm from the US and haven't had very good insurance in the past so I've actually avoided going to the dentist for years because of the cost. (Not a good idea since I found out I have a bunch of minor cavities ) I'm going back to get my other two wisdom teeth pulled, one of which is impacted so it will be a surgical removal. It will be a little more expensive so I will post back later with how much it cost me. |

Following up to my first post, I got my last two wisdom teeth pulled last Thursday. One of my wisdom teeth was impacted so I got a surgical extraction for that one. The price was 20,800 won this time and the medicine I got was a little stronger than last time so it cost 5,000 won. So altogether to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed cost me 39, 970 won. I was really impressed by the service. Even though it was cheap, the facilities are very nice and the staff is great. Also, both times I got my wisdom teeth out Berry texted me the next day to see how I was doing. I would definitely recommend anyone to get a free consultation here. |

I just had a free cleaning done this morning and Berry is great! She was really nice, her English was great and the cleaning was less uncomfortable than I remember cleanings being in Canada.
The dentist recommended that I get two molars filled, and the cavities are apparently pretty deep so they would need to give me a needle to numb my gums and drill down. She quoted me 220,000 per tooth, so 440,000 total with the tooth colored filler (I don't get why anybody would want gold in their mouth) and I'm wondering if that price is high or low. Anybody have experience with getting more serious cavities done here? I'm guessing the price is high so I'd love to find somewhere to get a second opinion. |

I also visited Reema Dental. Berry went out of her way to make appointments for me and my boyfriend. After having a bad experience at the dentist as a child, I am super afraid of going. Also, I had heard that the dentists in Korea can be a little bit scary. Berry was really gentle and always asking me if I was ok. I highly recommend this place. |
