Lived there in early 90's it was a very nice city with beautiful mountains and some great historic places. I was last there in 2002 , it was bigger but still nice. If you are into hiking, outdoor things you will like it.

Daegu is not beautiful to me and I just started a thread about how beautiful Korea is.

Daegu is the city famous for the police captain giving the ESL teachers a lecture on how dangerous they are. Rolling Eyes

LOL! Only Daegu has that speech? T.T Well, luckily it is rolled up in a nice bundle of "here's how to use the banks and here's the number of the international line~" and Korean traditional dance and foods~~ I think I missed it this year because my hagwon boss didn't tell me to go ^.^
