|

Does anyone know if it is possible to study while on the D-10 looking for work visa?
I am thinking of studying Korean at University for a semester or two, and could switch to a D-2 visa of course.
However would it be possible to switch from my existing E-2 (mid-contract so LOR needed) to a 6 month D-10 visa and then enroll on a course?
Basically studying between jobs.
I haven't been about to find any posts about this.
I wonder if it would just be at the discretion of the university?
I sent a couple of e-mails to some Universities today but not replies just yet.
Any info appreciated! |

| I've studied at a couple of different university language programs and they have never cared what my visa status was. They don't get involved. They give you the letter you need to go get the visa yourself, but they just want your money. I've done it on an E2 visa and on a tourist visa. If you're Canadian, a 6 month tourist visa should do the trick. |
