Might shell out the bucks to watch it on Imax with the old ball and chain. Is it worth the 30,000 won?

What do you really think? The 4th Movie in a series of B movies about super heroes from a dumbed down children's comic. Do you think it'll be 'amazing', do you think it'll be worth the bus fare there?

Actually just venting a bit as I just watched cabin in the woods, which actually got good reviews, and it was dire

I want to believe. I still have a special place in my heart for Spidey and all his fellow super hero pals. I hope it's more Avengers than Daredevil.

The English language lacks sufficiently strong adjectives to express my indifference towards another bloody Spiderman movie. I am vehemently indifferent, maybe.

Just wait until they reboot the Batman series, again after Dark Knight Rises.

Or the reboot after three crappy movies, a la X-Men: First Class.

i personally quite enjoyed the amazing spiderman. way better than sam raimi's crap, although he's one of those tim burton-esque overhyped directors to start with.

spidey's movements were spot on and way better than in the series with tobey.

just don't get too shocked when mary jane dies in the new one though.

I would be shocked if Mary Jane were to die in any subsequent movies. Gwen Stacey on the other hand. . .

I paid $16 for regular 3d and thought it was worth it. Overall it was pretty entertaining, even though I disliked the trailer (Spiderman comes off as bit of a smarmy punk in it). There were enough 3D effects to justify paying the extra for it.

Yet another tired remake in a town that has lost all original ideas and creativity. All Hollywood is puking up these days are remakes and movies based on comic books. If the town went bankrupt, I would smile!

I saw it last weekend at Yongsan CGV in the IMAX 3D theatre.

I really did enjoy it and felt I got my money's worth. I thought the action scenes were more gritty and not as comic bookish as in Sam Raimi's Spiderman.

Andrew Garfield played his role well with a nice injected sense of humour, rebellion and angst that were happily not at the annoyingly moody levels of Twilight. This Spiderman was portrayed as less invincible when taking a beating and worked hard to max out his superhero potential rather than just becoming an ultimate superhero overnight.

It was great watching it in IMAX 3D and it made me feel more part of the action rather than just watching something digitally created to look suspenseful a la Prometheus.

I believe that SONY did it so as not to lose the rights.

I saw it a few days back. Great form and action to Spider-man, but Peter was a real douche throughout. I felt like I was watching Twilight at parts.

I saw it with my kid today. Yes, much better than the Sam Raimi movies (still don't get why Kirsten Dunst was cast as Mary Jane).
