|
|
I am thinking of returning back to Korea very soon and a quick question regarding E2: I have a three year Degree as well as a one year Masters and I would like to know if I can apply for an E2 with my Masters or whether Korean authorities require my documents from my three year Degree.
It would be easier to get all my documents for my E2 with my Masters and I thought my MA would supersede my BA. Just curious as this is the first time I am applying for E2 Visa.
Any advice would be appreciated. |

Good question.
I don't know the answer, but I'd guess they'll want to see your undergrad papers because all that immigration really cares about is whether you have a BA.
If you get some news from the embassy or from immigration, let us know. Now I'm curious also. |

Bad news for you....
Immigration wants the authenticated bachelors degree (as required and specifically stated in law) and don't care about the masters (or if anyone else is reading, other "equivalent" education).

Thanks ttompatz. Looks like I need to contact my very old university. My wife is contacting Korean immigration in Seoul tomorrow to find out if I would be able to reapply for my F2. Keeping my fingers crossed. |
