There's always something to smile about, even if it's more of a Grinch- esque grin as you plot the downfall of your current school. . Twisted Evil

I agree.

Life itself should make a person happy as well.

Kristsoy, in the classroom a smile is a big help. Children and adults respond better to a smiling teacher. Do you teach?

Walking around yesterday I was smiling. It was a beautiful warm sunny day, I was on my way to meet the love of my life, I had some great tunes playing on my MP3 player and the expectation of a delicious curry and a few beers later in the day.

Stop being so grumpy folks enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

In the winter I'm a bit of a grumpt ba5tard to be honest, but now Spring is here I'm happy and smiling a lot.

The stoic expressions are likely due to koreans being taught to hold in emotions at a young age. I'm guessing anyway.

Americans and Canadians smile more than people from anyone else. So I heard. I think it's just a cultural thing. Could be that you have more to smile about than other people, I suppose. That photo of Koreans looks normal to me, but then people in London can be a miserable bunch of bastards too.

Some of the Koreans in that photo look like Jews walking out of "Shindler's List."

Oh yeah... That's the truth. Go and sit on the tube for a while. Looks like everyone is about to top themselves.
