I am currently waiting for my VISA issuance number and will then have to apply for my visa.

Does anyone know if an in person interview is still required, or can I just post my documents to the consulate in Pretoria?

I have also come across a document which states that a video recording is required for anyone living outside of Gauteng who cannot go to PTA for an interview. The document was from a few years back, does anyone know if a video recording of myself answering a bunch of questions is still required if I do not have to go for an interview?

Thanks

Quite the odd question seeing as how you can just call the embassy in Pretoria and ask them. Anyway, never had to do an interview at the embassy there myself, and I always went in person as I lived in Johannesburg. If you can manage to go in person, it takes about three days for the visa to be ready.
