Koreans do not like sweet? For Pete's sake the potato chips/snacks are half the time are sweet. Bread, soups, salad dressing, teas, coffees, sauces - all Korean products seem to be loaded with sugar.

Some Asian countries have different attitudes towards milk and milk products. I think Japan and China milk is not very popular.
