Hi... I need to notarize and authenticate with MOFAT my daughter's Korean birth certificate.

We have an English language birth certificate only, but I've read that to notarize it, it must also be translated into Korean language.

Does anyone know a place where I could have the birth certificate translated into Korean and notarized?

Background:

I've been calling the offices I saw listed online, but got nowhere. They're listed as speaking English, but then don't.

I'm Canadian and my wife is Filipino. We're both out of country right now, but a friend is going to help me with the notarizing and authenticating. We need it to apply for dual-citizenship with the Philippines.

Thanks for any help you can offer me.

I'm not sure where you live .
If you live in Seoul . Then just go behind the US embassy.
You will find lots of notaries as well as translation sevices .

My friend who's helping me (I live in Taiwan), lives in Songdo, Incheon. Going to downtown Seoul won't be a problem, though.

When you say lots, do you mean "obvious to anyone who steps foot in the area"?

Any idea how much they charge?

Thanks for the help.

I'm sure you can get everything done for
under 100 dollars.

Yes , the shops are obvious to anyone who would go there.
Most of the signs are in Korean and English .
