The guy is weird, a turd, and passive-aggressive. If this didn't happen, it was just going to be something else sooner or later. The first step is to stop caring about what he thinks. Second, make sure to stand up for yourself if he brings it up again or he will keep doing similar things.

People get off from this kind of stuff. Making others uncomfortable over stupid little things gives them the feeling of being significant. His behavior on the bus shows this as well. Is he also late for stuff all the time?

You seem to understand this the way I do. Maybe even more so. I will see if he is late for future events Laughing

When we tried to pick him up at the train station, there was some confusion where he would be. I don't count that against him, perhaps more absent-minded than late.

I had a raunchy reply because I took wrongful offense. Maybe you can clarify, turdburglar. We'll call you that now until you substantiate your 14 year old girl expertise. Immigration, look out for this guy.

Really?
Your dilemma is a joke.
People have real problems.
I don't know what to say about yours?
I do know that I am glad I don't know you or this idiot with porn on his computer personally.
I believe the 14 year old girl reference was applying to the fact that this is the level of problem a 14 year old girl would deal with.

The guy has a wife, the guy has videos of his wife, the guy has named the videos as regular movie files (was there a file called "Sex-Men.Whorigins.XviD.mpg" for example?).

He can't be open because he doesn't want to point to his private movie collection. He's understandably worried.

Just check if he keeps a diary on his computer, you'll better understand his thoughts.

Advice: make the opening post short, concise and to the point. You can always elaborate later. I read about three sentences, my eyes glazed over and I suddenly realised that I couldn't imagine anything less appealing than reading the rest of it.

Or maybe he has a huge cache of CP. It's probably in "New Folder." YNMTND, you need to find where he is storing his CP because there might be reward money, you will be stopping a criminal, and they will replace him with somebody else if you manage to crack the case.

definitely have a tickle fight to see who is right or wrong. then after you've made amends, have a debate on why putting the toilet paper with the paper rolling towards you is either wrong or right.

I want to debate what the average IQ of someone who can't use the quote button properly might be. DEBATE ON!

I do notice you used the quote button properly this time, so something good has come out of this thread after all.

I want to debate whether people should go back and fix messed up quotes. DEBATE ON!

As for the original topic, dunno, after reading the post about the bus and stupid speaker incident, I'd be happier not getting along with the dude. I wouldn't worry about the "elephant in the room," but I would probably try to see how many sarcastic insults I could get away with.

You seem to be a pretty sensitive guy to notice that you had a problem with him, but in my view your sensitivity is misdirected.

I mean, obviously you shouldn't even be posting this "incident."

It's pretty simple. He has something private on his computer, something that has clearly made him a bit paranoid.

You're going on and on about the applications and technical stuff related to how and what you did (with him and now with us)...showing your computer savvy acumen, when the guy simply felt a bit violated...now you want to make it philosophical. I think Ayn Rand would say (objectivism and stuff aside...she'd likely push for common sense):

He wants to keep some secrets secret. Confused

[Your posting this clearly smacks of caring more about your issues than his. You seem likeable enough from your writing, but also somewhat like a guy in the dark in terms of your self-centeredness...with the technological discourse, the guitar lecture, the password notions, and pretty much everything you wrote, you seem to be totally oblivious to YOUR problem.

Try seeing him as a person, instead of an object of your curiosities, and perhaps you'll find some normality in him.]

I honestly dont know how to use the quotes properly especially when people piece together multiple quotes and are able to write comments in between each quote. This is blowing my mind!

I wish that "towel slap in the shower" thread had not been deleted. That was an awesome thread!
