| They probably take details so if the cards were stolen and the perp caught on tape they can count you out of the enquiry. |

| I'm quite sure that if you drop them into a mail box then they'll get sent to the company that issued them. |

I get a text message every time one of my credit or debit cards is used. Doesn't defer theft or loss, but if something rings up, and I call my bank, I'm not charged for the fraudulent purchases.
I draw hearts, straight lines, smiley faces etc. when I sign. It's awesome. |

I always use the hearts with cute cashiers. Doesn't come out perfect on some older touch pads though. |
