I can't really find any useful info that will tell me about this chain. Thoughts, concerns, advice? |

I went to interview with them in person when they first opened years ago. They seemed to be well resourced, and the owner seemed pretty upfront with all the working specs - he admits he expects you to work really hard, which was explicit in the job ad then, and I think is still in the job ad now. I just didn't take the job only because it was too many hours for me - something like a full day 'international style' curriculum with kindy kids. I could also imagine the Gangnam-area parents having a lot of $ clout in the way things got handled, so that was also not for me.
Maybe someone has more recent feedback ... |

Which one are you interested in finding out more about? They're all individually owned and managed I think. A friend of mine was working at the one near express bus terminal. They make them stick around until 6 everyday even if they don't have any classes. They said the school looks great but in reality it's a depressing environment to work in. Not much appreciation or thanks given and A LOT of additional paperwork and meaningless rules to follow. Needless to say they're happy to be moving on! |

They offered me a job and told me they didn't even have an apartment ready yet. They said "we can assure you it won't be more than 3 subway stops away." Yea, not going to get on a plane fly around the world when I'm not even sure where I'm going to sleep. Decided to pass. |

Any recent info from anyone on this place? In the astronomical off chance they've become decent. Either the Gangnam or Jamsil locations. |

On a positive note, when I worked there five or six years ago, they were using the Oxford books for their kindy classes and American textbooks for their elementary classes.
That didn't really do much to counterbalance the other issues, however. |

My old director came from JES originally and jacked their entire curriculum. I can't speak to the school specifically, but I did think the books were pretty good.
My buddy currently works for them and likes it, but it's his first job. I believe he's at the Hannam location. I might be able to get you in touch with him. PM if interested. |
