Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has any experience finding whey protein that is acceptable for lactose intolerant folk. I found some on iherb.com that say they are "more acceptable," but I haven't found any reviews or testimonials from users.

Any recommendations on specific kinds of whey protein that won't give me 24/7 discomfort after a couple of sips?

I've used hemp protein in the past. It was an awesome source of fiber, and I did experience weight gain, but I'm not a consistent bodybuilder.

Stomach-wise, zero problems.

I often order my stuff from http://www.vitamadang.com It's a site that was established for Koreans (or Korean readers--but the search engine works for english if you know the name of the product, and pretty manageable even if you don't) and sells pretty much everything you need for working out (directly from the US). The positive things is that they have a pretty good rapport with customs so you don't get stuff that's been hacked open.

The only thing that was a bit odd, is that you can't register online with your alien registration system. What I did to bypass this was put in my birthdate followed by 7 zeros. It beat the computer verification crap. They then called me on the phone, after they realized that it didn't exist, to get the real foreign registration.

They usually deliver within a week after you've ordered and paid online. They also have a pretty comprehensive delivery tracking system that has made it so that I never have to call or contact them and know pretty much when I'm going to get my shipment.
