Podcasts? I prefer LIVE radio. Hence I listen online to audio shows when at home, music instead for travelling about.

I remember listening to Adam Corolla a few months ago in a library in Gwangju and it was so funny I was literally crying. I was quite out of place in the center of a room filled with people studying that I promptly showed myself out.

Really dig the democracynow and midnightrunner podcasts. Good suggestions!

Love www.democracynow.org. A news programme with actual information about stuff that matters!

And interludes of music from the presenter's personal collection which I could do without...

Is it ok to bump your own thread from two years ago? Meh, whatever.

Any good new podcasts out there?

Not new but I've been addicted to WTF with Marc Maron. He's a veteran comedian who interviews other comedians (some actors and musicians as well). Over 300 episodes now. Some really big names there too.

WTF w/ Marc Maron is awesome for comedy nerds like me, unfortunately some of the older, better episodes aren't available for free. The new stuff's still good tho, but one should keep in mind Maron's a bit of an acquired taste.

The Roosterteeth, formerly The Drunk Tank, podcast. Easily the most entertaining podcast ever. If you don't know Roosterteeth go check out their website.

lots of good music, news and opinion in the archives at...

kpfk.org (background briefing, folk scene, global village, somethings happening, democracy now)

kcrw.com(left,right&center, morning becomes eclectic, joe frank, le show)

prn.fm(gary null)

but please do not listen to this this selfrighteous, redneck, self-made, American, multi-millionaire with negligible broadcsting skills....
