Are any of these type of insurance companies better than another.
Has anyone had any dealings with Korean hospitals accepting this kind of insurance or not.
I got a quote from World Nomads and wonder if they are any good.
I'm just taking some time off to study Korean and work part-time to get my F-299 so I wonder if it's worth it.
Please no horror stories about Korean hospitals from unbeknownst foreigners a la advanced payment. |

If this helps, on our last trip our travel insurance (family) came through our credit card for part of the trip and through our regular insurance provider for the rest.
Our son and I got sick during the trip and things went perfectly well. These were two different occurences, one in Busan (me) while visiting family and the other our son while visiting friends in Gyungju.
If you do not have a regular insurance provider then blue cross is pretty well known and reputable for coverage.
As for the risk, it is up to you to weigh it but I would say you are making the right choice getting insurance. |
