I've set up a fantasy football league, it's free to enter a team in the game and free to join the league.

No money involved, but it's always possible for people to sort out wagers between themselves later if they so wish.

Here's the link: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/
1. Pick a team.
2. Join the league, here is the code:
165573-239894

If you have any trouble joining let me know an I can send you an invite direct from the website.

We have a couple of players at the moment by need more!

Come and join the Esl Cafe Classico!

The Family Mart Felons have this league. All others are fighting for 2nd place.

The name Family Mart Felons made me laugh. I liked the fact your kit was the Family Mart colors. Out of interest where did you guys spend big? I went big on defence but picked a couple of cheap strikers I thought played well last year. I'm tempted by RVP though. I'm not sure the formation Man U will play with him though. Will they have him up front alone with Rooney tucked in behind him. I always thought he was best up front on his own ala Arsenal as opposed to being paired up with someone ala Netherlands. I guess time will tell.

Thanks Souleman69!

I went with a "spine" of big budget options, although I didn't pick up any of the "Big 3" strikers, all of them are at least 8.5 On the edges I mostly went with bargain options, but some of those will be upgraded later. I broke a rule and put two defenders from the same team (Chelsea) in, but with the double gameweek, it made sense. I'll transfer at least one of them out over the next few gameweeks to improve my budget options (unless the budget options are on form)/

I'm leery of any investment in Man U beyond DeGea, and even he's a bit of a risk. Midfield- I see a lot of rotation, and RVP might make it so that neither him nor Rooney are quite worth the money. ManCity besides Aguero, Hart, Silva, Kompany, and possibly Nasri will be a rotational headache. Who knows what will happen with that 3-5-2 of Mancini's...

Maybe we should have a Dave's trophy? A bronzed bottle of soju perhaps?

I've never been convinced by DeGea. He made some great saves but I don't feel confident when he's playing so I didn't pick him. I chose Cice from QPR as a striker but he is a big risk. His talent is undeniable but his temperament need work. I'm looking forward to Saturday to see how it all pans out.

I am the reigning champ Smile They had an ESL cafe league set up last year too, I won it at a canter!

And 3 seasons ago I came in 3955 out of a few million teams. I spent an insane amount of time studying and reading the news during that whole season though, never again, it was madness. In the end I asked myself was it worth the time? What did I achieve? Nothing.

Okay enough, morale of the story... I am baddass at this. Lol. But these days I have a more chilled approach. Anyways, 2 more days to go Smile

What's the name of your team? Should we do "trash talk" like I see in American movies?
You guys teams suck and I've heard your personal hygiene is below acceptable societal norms.
Take that!

My men are the finest France has to offer. Your men are the finest France has to offer.

Here's hoping the server gets clogged and we get a 2nd week of free transfers like last year. I actually was gambling on that a bit with my 3 Chelsea picks.

If i could only play Heskey, in every position, you lot'd be doomed already. Damn these 'rules.'

Anyway, still 12 hours or so to get your team in, dont leave it too late!
